Delhi is rocking for sure. Last weekend saw Haven from the UK perform with Them Clones and Nakshatra to a packed house. Melroy D'souza, an avid rocker, attended the show, "Haven's music is close to Travis and Coldplay... a bit softer; which was cool.
What is great to witness is that our Indian bands are just as cool as the international acts," he says.

What's making heads turn in Delhi is the way Vh1 Rock Rules, an initiative of Vh1 the international music and lifestyle channel, is bringing together the topmost acts in the international music scene alongside Indian rock talents.
Garreth D'Mello, a rock musician, is actually looking forward to the Indian acts at the rock event, co-presented by TVS Apache and Nokia, in association with Mahindra Scorpio and Head & Shoulders; print partner Times of India and travel and hospitality partner Thomas Cook.
"I don't really know anything about the international acts, but I looked them up online, and they are interesting. It's been a long time since I saw Parikrama though. It'll be fun."

As part of the second leg of the activity, Empire Dogs from Sweden will perform tonight at Elevate (voted the 35th best Club in the World by DJ Mag), along with two of the city's hottest bands Parikrama and Oritus....
....
And that has got someone like Palash Sen, one of Delhi's hottest rock stars, excited too. "It's great that Indian bands are getting a platform to perform. The rock scene in India has been neglected so far.
Sadly, international acts always come to other cities and give Delhi a miss; so it's good that some international acts are coming to the city. We need more rock gigs in India, especially here," he says.
Vh1 Rock Rules, that has been described as 'India's Rock Revolution Begins', will see the latest sensation in rock, Taxiride from Australia perform for the finale, next week. Rock on Delhi !
